Crave Cookies Online Ordering: Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Crave Cookies, LLC ("Crave," "we," "us") collects when you order at eat.cravecookies.com (the "Ordering Site"), how we use it, and your choices. Our main website privacy policy at https://cravecookies.com/policies/privacy-policy also applies.
What we collect
Information you give us when you order: your name, phone number, email, delivery address and delivery instructions, the store you order from, what you order, and any tip.
Payment information: payments are processed by Square. Square collects your card or Apple Pay details directly. We don't see or store your full card number. We receive a payment confirmation and limited details such as the card brand and last four digits.
Rewards information: if you sign in to Crave Rewards with your phone number, we use it to look up and update your rewards balance.
Information collected automatically: the device and browser you use, pages viewed, and actions taken on the Ordering Site. Unless you opt out, we use cookies and similar tools from Google Analytics and Meta (and, at some stores, a store's own Meta or Google tag) to measure and improve the Ordering Site and our marketing. We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how people move through the Ordering Site, with heat maps and session replays, so we can fix what is confusing; it masks what you type and follows the same Privacy settings opt-out. We also use Vercel Speed Insights to measure how fast pages load, without cookies; it follows the same Privacy settings opt-out.
Address lookup: when you type a delivery address, we use Google to suggest and confirm the address.
How we use it
- To place your order with the store you chose and let the store prepare it
- To arrange delivery, including sharing your name, phone number, address and instructions with our delivery partner and the courier
- To send order confirmations and order updates by email or text
- To run Crave Rewards
- To prevent fraud and abuse, including blocking addresses tied to fraudulent orders
- To understand how the Ordering Site is used and to measure and improve our advertising, unless you opt out
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
Who we share it with
- The store you order from. Most Crave stores are independently owned franchisees. They receive your order details to fulfill it and may contact you about it.
- Square, to process your payment and record your order.
- Our delivery partner and couriers, for delivery orders.
- Google and Meta, for analytics and advertising measurement, unless you opt out. This can include a store owner's own tag when you order from that store.
- Microsoft (Clarity), for site analytics, unless you opt out.
- Service providers that host and run the Ordering Site for us.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Your choices
- Cookies and tracking: analytics and advertising cookies are on by default. You can turn them off any time in Privacy settings, linked at the bottom of the Ordering Site, and your choice applies from then on. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and keep them off.
- Texts: reply STOP to any text to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Access and deletion: you can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to delete it, at https://cravecookies.com/pages/contact. Some information must be kept for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed to fulfill orders, run Crave Rewards, and meet legal and accounting requirements.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, and card payments are handled by Square. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
The Ordering Site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
